French TV #13: Stories Without Fingerprints Now Out

Hello all--me and the boys [TEE guitarist Katsumi Yoneda; Volare keyboardist Patrick Strawser; and longtime rhythm section Jeff Gard & MEEEE] have a new double-cd out. Disc One is 6 new studio monstrosities. Disc Two is us [mostly] live in the studio prepping for our 2018 Chicago ProgtoberFest gig, BBC session-style, including a surprise Steppenwolf deep cut. Ordering link = https://www.french-tv.net/orderingdistributors.htm. Also carried by most of your fav prog vendors [and if they don't, demand why]. For a taste, see https://soundcloud.com/violent-amate...ess-inventions

Hey Mike!! Got to chat with you way back at your first appearance at Progday. Quick question, can I order from your site? Can’t wait to hear the latest set.

Considered it, but wife would have crowned me (and not in a good way).

    Hola Mike!.

    Me too!.

    Great news BTW!

ps: Mike, I live in Costa Rica and, so far, this is the best way to get your new music (bandcamp), I mean, I'm thinking about the high shipping rates to Costa Rica and our local taxes that at least double the original price of the CD.

    Just ordered Mike, plus FTV-6&7.
Wish there were a way to order multiple disc, by use of a cart ... and then check out with PayPal. Both of my orders were separate. Just curious Mike.
    Thanks

I'd like to have an add-to-cart ordering option, but I'd have to move my webs.com host account to a "premium" membership, and I don't really sell enough to justify doing so. They do offer a free web store set-up, but you're only allowed 5 items. Sorry! BTW, thanks to everyone who has ordered! I mailed them today.

This album is excellent!! The ratio of prog to avant is perfect for me (well-balanced). The musicianship is so good all around.

Almost certain that this will be one of my top album picks for 2020.

Haven't heard you guys since the All My Unhappiness release, but this new one sounds smashing.

My goodness, that debut was in 1984? With Miriodor and Cheer-Accident and Thinking Plague you're probably one of the longest standing groups around. Amazing that you're even able to pull that off from the timetable. Respect!

I got this in last bc artist support sale together with 10 other albums and I finally had the time to listen to it.

It sound amazing. Of course I need more plays but first impression is that it is at least on par with a the last one (which i liked a lot)
    Great sound quality too.

Many thanks for the nice things being said about our new cd! We put more work into this one than we normally do (in terms of the mixing), so it's nice to hear the sonics are pleasing to the ear.
In other news, I did an interview for Tom Gagliardi of The Gagliarchives radio show that will be broadcast tonight! Tune in and hear me moan about our lack of popularity in the greater prog community and dish on the sordid secrets of French TV members past and present! https://www.facebook.com/search/top/...epa=SEARCH_BOX

^^ Thanks for letting us know about the show tonight, I'll definitely listen. I haven't listened to the show in a long time.

Also, I thought the new album sounded great too. It was worth the extra work! (For me, anyway )

Just placed an order for this, but having listened to it on bandcamp I have to say...this just might be my favorite FrenchTV album yet. I though the previous couple were great, but this even kicks it up a step for me. Great job all around!

I agree. This is my favorite of the last three. Highly recommended for everyone on this board.
