I haven’t heard Chon & Plini, but there are a lot of young bands like Covet, Floral, and Signals, playing this style, which can be termed ‘progressive’ or ‘math rock’.
Not really my style, but that was enjoyable. I would bet that honeycomb guitar body was 3D printed.

The honeycomb guitar guy sort of reminds me of T. J. Helmerich in Uncle Moe's Space Ranch.
