    Box of Noise

    This sounds very interesting.

    Dear Friends

There is a new band on the horizons of the adventurous progressive fusion.

    BOX OF NOISE

    PERCY JONES - bass guitar
    ALEX MACHACEK - guitar
    KENNY GROHOWSKI- drums

2022 will bring international tours, new album with brand new compositions, and a lot of joy, harmony and wellness.

The three shows on the short warm up tour of SoCal are:

JAN 15, SAT - San Pedro, CA (Alva’s Showroom)
JAN 16, SUN - Los Angeles, CA (The Baked Potato)
JAN 17, MON - Los Angeles, CA (The Baked Potato)

A few more to be confirmed very soon. Expect a significant live activity from the second half of 2022 and 2023.

Shorter term, where the hell are the additional PAKT downloads that were supposed to come out in September, and then when that didn't happen, last week?

I don't think I have heard anything from Alex Machacek since 24 Tales , he has been a favorite for a long time.
    I will await a recording.

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

I'm in for this for sure.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

given the way they have chosen to display the "BX" on the poster, along with the fact that Machacek subbed for Goodsall a number of times, i can't help but wonder if they will pull out some old chestnuts...
either way, if they play someplace/sometime convenient, i would love to see them.

After 24 Tales he released two fine jazzrock-albums with the FAT-trio, one on Abstract Logix and one as a private release on Bandcamp: https://fabulousaustriantrio.bandcamp.com/album/awesome
Plus a duo-recording with Gary Husband, which I haven't heard.

BOX OF NOISE is a long term supergroup project under the auspices of MoonJune Music, featuring three distinguished maestros of their own instruments: the legendary fretless bass icon PERCY JONES; the innovative guitar visionary ALEX MACHACEK and multi-genre drummer extraordinaire KENNY GROHOWSKI. The band will be rehearsing new material in Los Angeles followed by a short warm-up tour on the West Coast USA, in January 2021. Percy Jones and Kenny Grohowski played together for several years in the last incarnation of the legendary fusion band Brand X, while Alex Machacek has performed 3 shows with Jones and Grohowski as part of the Brand X. Debut studio album will be recorded sometimes during the 2022, accompanied by multiple tours in North America and around the world, and it will be released worldwide on MoonJune Records.
The band will perform new tunes composed by all 3 members, and some tunes from the Brand X and Alex Machacek repertoire.
