Nectar ; The Other Side vs Megalomania

Own both, enjoy both, I find that the Other Side may be a better cd by writing, but Mega feels more like Nektar by style. I hear a lot more Roy influenced music in that one. Other Side sounds a bit less like the band. Thoughts? Opinions?

I only have "The Other Side" and really enjoy it. I have been curious about the "other" Nektar's album, but never got it.

I think that "The Other Side" is way better than " Megalomania" in every respect , including by style , not even close in my opinion.

I've spun The Other Side a couple of times and it really has that Nektar vibe for me. Haven't bothered with the "other" Nektar. Perhaps someone will convince me that that's a mistake. (He said, tossing a gauntlet casually at the ground)

Other Side is to me a good, legit Nektar album, with a clear connection to the Roye era. They worked hard and it holds up well with the other reunion-era albums. Megalomania has its moments but it's hard to even hear it as Nektar.
