I count myself lucky to have seen the dynamic stylings of the Vanilla Fudge while I was on vacation in Cape Cod in 2016. Knew very little about them except that Carmine Appice was on board. Really enjoyed the show, Carmine was great as was Mark Stein. Here's a brief interview with Carmine from the time. http://capecodonline.com/things-to-d...-hits-payomet/

Setlist was as follows, Season of the Witch the highlight.

    I'm a Believer
    (Neil Diamond cover)
Break On Through (to the Other Side)
(The Doors cover) (Dedicated to Jim and Robby)
    People Get Ready
(The Impressions cover) (Dedicated to MLK, Civil Rights the and now)
Take Me for a Little While
    (Trade Martin cover)
    Gimme Some Lovin'
    (The Spencer Davis Group cover)
    Let's Pray for Peace
(Dedicated to terrorist victims in Paris, Belgium, more )
    Good Good Livin'
    Season of the Witch
    (Donovan cover)
    Shotgun
(Jr. Walker & The All Stars cover)
    You Keep Me Hangin' On
    (The Supremes cover)
    Encore:
    Dazed and Confused
(Jake Holmes cover) (Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You snippet)

It would have been 3/4 of the original lineup. The full original band toured from 1999 until 2010 when Tim Bogert retired.

I caught them in '68 on a bill with Steve Miller and, I think, one or two other times back in the daze.
