Kimara Sajn - Dark Ceremony remastered

My album "Dark Ceremony" is now almost 40 years old. Newly remastered and available to listen to online via the link below:

    http://www.precognitiverecords.com/DarkCeremony

(Click the cover/splash page to get inside to the player)

As the catalogue page puts it: "A beautiful, dark and rocking blend with middle-eastern and other oriental flavours."

One feels odd posting about my releases lately, in these strange and distracted times. It's all i have to offer right now but it's something. I do hope people get some pleasure from these free listens, even if very few actually see these posts.

Peace and safety to everyone here at PE.

    Ta for now,

    Kim

P.S: if you can, do check out the other posts around here somewhere. There is a free download of our upcoming album in one of them. Later

I keep wanting to hear your stuff, Kim, but my computer doesn't get on well with Soundcloud, and your site isn't playing Dark Ceremony when I click on the play arrow. Maybe it's a Java issue, I don't know. I'll look into it.

Hmm... well, Java wouldn't be involved (at least not on our site). You may have to give it a moment after hitting the play button. You should see a % number going near the top once it starts (percentage of track play). If that's going but you're not hearing anything, though - you will want to make sure your machine can play mp3 format (via HTML5). If you never see it start, make sure that Javascript is allowed to run in your browser. I trust you play other music on the computer, so that's about the only caveat i can think of. I am using Javascript to control the audio there.

I'm not sure why Soundcloud would have an issue, though. It's usually quite reliably played on most platforms. If you're using Chrome, there are some settings in each case which might be causing trouble with allowing music control, but generally it's able to play on any browser.

Let me know if you're still having trouble. I can send you the album as a download for free. Since you have an interest

Take care, be safe and stay sane,

    Kim

Sounds really nice Kim. Thanks for posting.
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound.

Thanks for listening. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

BTW, these albums are intended to reveal themselves over repeat listens, so do feel free to listen whenever you like (or get yourself a copy as needed). If you have any issues streaming, let us know. We'll hook you up.

Speaking of... our most recent release "Voodoo Ruins" came out this past Friday. Elsewhere, we tried in vain to give away free copies. Alas, we can't even give our stuff away these days Understandable, i guess.

In any event, here is the stream of that AND a link to download it for free, should you be interested. We're very happy with how it came out and hope it also brings some small measure of joy and sadness into your isolation zone. Peace, safety and sanity to everyone who does see this

    Stream: http://www.precognitiverecords.com/VoodooRuins

(as usual, click the cover splash image to inside to the music player)

You can download a copy from here

This thread seem as good a place as any to post this. Today while working from home I listened to the entire Perspectives album (vols 1 and 2). So good.

Hope you and your family have been doing all right, Kim.

    Thanks, man.

We're hanging in there. Seattle's been nuts what with first the covid and now the protests and so on. But there are all sorts of hopeful things too. Having lived through the 60s, i think we can be hopeful, if sad and exhausted by it all. Feeling blessed in our family and friends, you know. And praying for positive change to come sooner than later.

I've not been feeling overly musical, alas. But i am glad to have gotten my earlier releases out and this last one (Voodoo Ruins). Also The Memory of Touch will probably be the germ for whatever comes next. We'll see if i get around to that.

Here is a little thing i've been playing for the past few weeks. I finally got a decent performance on tape the other night. Maybe it will bring some joy into your home.

Music making has mostly been a sanity preserving event in our house right now. But this may inspire something more public down the line also. Thanks for your friendship and ears

Stay safe. Peace torts to you and yours,

    Kim

Man, thank you for the reminder. I haven't been as active on PE these last couple months, and I guess I missed your earlier reply.

The song you shared (Remains of the Day) is really good. Thank you for posting it!

I wish I could play piano like you...

I've been less active also - hence the refresher here. We've all surely been otherwise preoccupied

Thank you for your kind words about Remains. I'm hoping to pull together some things once i am again inspired to bother. I have several tracks - that one and The Memory of Touch among them - which i hope to work on with B.Sue over the next. She's also got a new song we've been recording which is sounding nice. Maybe this will turn into a thing. I've been so out of it lately... we'll see though. We really appreciate the friends and support we have here. It helps to know people are listening and enjoying.

Peace, grace, love and light to everyone here (and their ponies),

    Kim

P.S: Oh, Tyler, i'm sure you play piano just fine. It's how it moves you that matters. Keep on truckin', brother!

It makes me happy just knowing you continue to write and play music, Kim. I hope the inspiration to put some more stuff together comes to you again sooner than later.

Today I'm gonna head over to your store and pick up some more music -- been meaning to for a while, but life has a way of getting one sidetracked... I haven't been listening to music as much lately, but I'm getting back into it in recent weeks.

Thank you for the encouraging words about playing piano. I'll keep on playing and learning!

    Don't be a stranger.

Edit: Playing Why Not? No right now. Did this really come out in 1983?
