    Upon reflection, the Sorey/Curtis duo cd has some aspects of jazz;namely the call and response and improvisational feel of some of the music therein.IMO.

    My top 3 so far would be Birds of Passage by Karfagen (this band was previously unknown to me), Love Over Fear by Pendragon and Katatoni'a City Burials.
