    RIP Keith Ling AKA Jubal

My husband, Keith Ling, passed away this morning. He was 62 years old. Keith was diagnosed in 2017 with high-grace B-cell Lymphoma. After that first round of chemo, he was cancer free for a year. It came back. After a bone marrow transplant, he was doing well until he contracted a virus (similar to mono). In January, things were looking up and he was back to work part-time. Two weeks ago, he was put into the hospital and never came back home.

He made many friends on this board. One of his joys in life was to talk Progressive Rock. He knew it well and loved it so much. Some of you made purchases from him when he was selling his collection of SACDs to help us make ends meet.

Thank you for befriending him. And being his online friends. It meant a lot to him. If anyone want to contact me directly, you can email me at ladysham@comcast.net

    God bless.

Kelly, I'm absolutely devastated to hear this. Keith had such a great spirit, and I loved his posts here about music, sports, and musical equipment. I believe he also had my CDs (Eccentric Orbit) and enjoyed them. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. This really is a loss, Keith truly had friends here and will be sorely missed.

Kelly, I'm so sorry to hear this news. Keith was a great guy and he will be missed.

Wasn't he a DJ, or did some musical work of some sort?

Kelly, I'm really sorry to hear this. I remember him from these forums as a jovial and passionate spirit. May he rest in peace, and may you find your own peace knowing that he was appreciated by many who shared his passions.

My condolences, Kelly, and thanks for letting us know. I’m very shocked and saddened by this. Whenever I asked a question about audio equipment Keith was quick to answer. He was always eager to help, and was one of those people who always was positive. It would be nice if you’d check back in a while, Kelly, and let us know how you are.

So sorry to read this, Kelly.

Keith was a friend, and we had a lot in common and held many conversations over the years. We hadn't communicated much in the last 2 years, though he mentioned his illness in February when he was selling off part of his collection.

I well remember political discussions with him, his strong feelings about home schooling, his (equally) strong feelings about his religion, his radio show, and various other topics.

Keith was a good man and I wish I'd known him better beyond just Facebook and Progressive Ears.

Your family will be in our prayers.

I'm moving this to the main board, as Keith was a long-standing friend on PE.
