That’s really sad, apart from his obvious talents he seemed to be a very lovely, decent and grounded man. I am happy that I got see him play live along his journey. RiP Bill, you will be missed.

This is tragic and feels close to home, but I take a bit of comfort that in a life that was far too short, he still had the chance to do so much that many could only dream of...and seized that chance.

This is tragic and feels close to home, but I take a bit of comfort that in a life that was far too short, he still had the chance to do so much that many could only dream of...and seized that chance.

It was via my old school friend Chris Connelly & Revolting Cocks that I first came across Bill. A very sad loss of a very special person.

Fripp's diary is answers some questions I've always had about Rieflin's comings and goings in the band. He has had cancer for close to a decade. Moved from drums to keys partly due to his bodily weakness. He seems like someone who would have been very interesting to talk to.

I guess I'll visit the other thread to know more. I'd always assumed he came from the REM crowd only, but apparently I was mistaken.

Had wondered about that.
Shifting Bill to the less-physical keys, away from the demanding drum stool shows that His Frippness is not always the twat he so painstainkingly drawing a picture of himself. He can be also a good individual.
