Bandcamp artist fundraiser Friday, May 1st, with all proceeds going to artists

Greetings,

As most of you know, in addition to all the more pervasive difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it has also had a devastating impact to those who make music in any professional capacity (especially those who rely on income from live performance and touring). As a gesture of support to the musical community, Bandcamp is offering to waive their share of revenue for purchases made on Friday, March 20th (midnight-to-midnight PDT). For details, please see:

In addition to sharing this announcement, I'm hoping we can all leverage this thread to share our own Bandcamp pages--both as artists and customers--and any specific recommendations as well. By example, I'll start with my own:

I wanted to do something to support artists at this time, so I bought a bunch of stuff from my wishlist last weekend - including this! It was before Bandcamp made their announcement.

I have made most of my albums $1 (usually it's all free to download). For the next week or so, I'm going to put all money from sales back into my local art scene (Knoxville, Tennessee - a town that desperately needs it). Most of it will likely go as a donation to the Pilot Light - a small venue that brings incredible music. It's basically where Big Ears was born. It's where I discovered my favorite band, CHEER-ACCIDENT.

The drummer for Perspective Vortex is a professional musician who lives from music only. He plays with a lot of famous Brazilian artists and just last week he was super happy to have played a gig with Sa & Guarabira (a quite famous and classic Brazilian duo from the 70's). But now he doesn't know when his next gig will be, and of course none of his students are showing up for classes either. So I believe this will be a very difficult period for him. Therefore, inspired by this thread, I have decided that whatever income I receive from Bandcamp sales tomorrow, I will give it entirely to him, in order to help him out a bit.
