Not a complaint, just an observation, but I don't think I've ever gotten so much e-mail overnight as I did last night/this morning.

This was a new one for me: For the first time a physical release I purchased on Bandcamp (Embryo's "Live Behind the Green Door" on green vinyl) did not come with a digital version. Apparently if I want the download I would have to purchase it separately for another 10 Euros, which ain't gonna happen.

My other Bandcamp purchases today mostly had a regional flavour (artists from Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto):

Au Vol - Chernobyl Birds (Ottawa ambient/drone)
Aurochs - Another Helpful Medicine (Toronto jazz)
Boris - "Hope" Japan Tour 2011
Jorrit Dijkstra/Ellwood Epps/Nicolas Caloia/John Hollenbeck - Live in Montreal (Montreal jazz with 'celebrity guests')
Embryo - Live at Rochuskapelle (Obscure German folk)
I Spell it Nature - North (Ottawa post-rock)
Evan Runge - The Haunted (Ottawa post-rock)
See Through 4 - Permanent Moving Parts (Toronto jazz)

I was going to order a CD copy of Sarin's You Can't Go Back (Toronto metal), but Relapse Records wanted a $19 shipping fee so I will wait and buy it from Amazon instead.

Seems like BC added the download "folder" where you can quickly D/L your albums and play them on the go, etc. I've been waiting fir this feature for a while. Good job BC!

    That'll do.

    James Bernard - Matrices
Chelidon Frame / Suseti - Kuiper Belt
Fossil Aerosol Mining Project - August 53rd

Pye Corner Audio - Black Mill Tapes 5

I suspect some additional lovelies will pop up later in the day so there might be a smaller afternoon grab as well. Edit: yep, see...Mattias has a new Molesome track up. So...afternoon fun shall also ensue

Viva la Bandcamp, adding a monthly highlight to many a dreary stretch over the last year.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

It's another Bandcamp Friday so we re-released Quarkspace Spacefolds 9. It's a deeply psychedelic spacerock excursion, highlighted by special guests, Lynnette Shelley & Brandon Laird-Lord Ross from The Red Masque, and analog synth guru, Carl Howard. These esteemed guests transform the sonics into a 22nd Century version of the Jefferson Airplane lurking somewhere in the Outer Rim. Thanks for listening!

John, got this from an earlier tip by you. So much music! So little time! (My mantra.)

My stuff is still there, for any interested parties. I guess it's up there for the uninterested parties, too.

I felt bad doing it, but I’ve gotten so tired of my phone dinging all through Bandcamp Friday that I turned off notifications for today. But I’ll be buying some stuff.

Albums from four different acts today ranging from stoner to jazz. Happy Bandcamp Day!

I need to play that disc again. Loved the music and the production was just so phenomenal.

New GCO (Galactic Cowboy Orchestra). Great! Adding more of a KC element to the mix including a cover of 21st CSM

Their live concert stream a couple weeks ago was excellent.

Got the new release by the Northern Arm - a Canadian band doing post rock stuff. I'm enjoying it a lot - quite reminiscent of GYBE but more laid back and doesn't have as much of the build to a climax structure.
