    I went for:

    New Accordo dei Contrari CD
    New Ghost Rhythms CD
    New Sterbus digital

(Already have the new Colouratura CD, which kicks ass, and the new Regal Worm CD is on its way.)

    Nice little haul!

Thank you very much, hope you like it. It's a bit different from our past things.
For those who are interested, here is a link for the album and this is the video for the first single!

    Only a couple this week:

Touch: Displacing-this is a compilation release by the Touch label with many of the artists I follow doing long-form compositions. The big selling points for me were the inclusion of an Olivia Block organ piece (which I've seen performed live), a Philip Jeck piece and a Carl Stone piece. Most of the other artists I'm not familiar with. This was a little pricey at over $50 U.S. but it's close to 4 hours long and given the quality of the names mentioned, I wanted this. After listening to the first two pieces last nite, I was not disappointed. https://touchdisplacing.bandcamp.com...uch-displacing

Marina Rosenfeld-theforestthegardenthesea Just started to discover her. She works with similar mediums as Philip Jeck, deriving her sounds from self created dub-plates. (Jeck uses strictly old vinyl as source material...it seems Rosenfeld uses bespoke material of her own creation.) Her latest Teenage Lontano is phenomenal so I wanted to dig deeper. https://room40.bandcamp.com/album/th...hegardenthesea

Is Bandcamp Friday finished with for now? I feel like I heard that, but I've lost track of Bandcamp's updates on this.

  15. #540
https://isitbandcampfriday.com/ says "Bandcamp Friday is over" and links to an article that seems to imply that there is no plan to continue them for now. I wish they would be completely clear about it, but I guess we'll find out for certain soon.

Apparently they decided to bring it back in February, for 4 more months, at least:

Bandcamp Fridays Return on February 4th
"It will likely be several months before live performance revenue starts to return in full. So we’re going to continue doing Bandcamp Fridays in 2022, on February 4th, March 4th, April 1st, and May 6th. As always, isitbandcampfriday.com has the details."

If the past is any indication, a bunch of the artists I follow will announce releases within a couple of days after Bandcamp Friday, financially shooting themselves in the foot.

Wow thanks for the heads up. I own the CDs of Highway 375 and Echoes From The Edge Of The Millennium. Will pick up the rest of the catalog. Excellent stuff.

Spacefolds 5 Re-released For Bandcamp Friday!

I still love this Spacefolds release. Recaesarian was our first stab at writing our own loops - and the live version is probably our most powerful loop-based piece. Voyage is an improv that has fused itself into my brain - Chet's bassline might as well have been composed. It ranks right below Spacefolds 6 and 7 as my favorite Spacefolds release.

This was also the first Spacefolds release that is album length (or double album length for that matter), thus the release schedule slowed down a bit after that time.

A lot of nice, spacey improv on this one - an album formerly without a cover, now available on Bandcamp for the first time with an extra track, Brainhaze recorded around this time!

Vape up and voyage with us!
