Made under lockdown this week, here’s a video for Cemetery Of Light, one of the more upbeat numbers.

The album is available through Burning Shed and will be available from Wayside very soon, alternatively you can get it from me at

It's a lovely thing, man. Congratulations on the release and bravo on, you know, doing a Faust cover. Who does that?

Sorry I Missed the live stream man....Friday afternoon online meetings hell.

Is it archived anywhere? I heard you did Fitter Stoke/Bath!
If it isn't Krautrock, it's krap.

    You bet I did, Frank!
Yeah, it’s all still there to watch on my ‘Kavus Torabi’ Facebook page.

There's a reassuring thing coming from your new work Kavus. I don't really care if it's good, which most certainly is. But it really resonates here. Cheers and a hug, since I understand that you're not averse to one, maybe even in the silly times we live in.

Can someone enlighten this ignorant dutch guy: What does hip to the jag mean? Google translate does not make any sense of it.

I really love the album btw.

Yes, same question from this ignorant french guy !

Well, it’s from a lyric to one of the songs.

Being on a jag, is like ‘Hey, I’m on a real Daniel Clowes jag at the moment’ and being hip to that.

It means something to me although not necessarily anyone else and, having tried a few times with different titles, this had a real ‘charge’ so I realised it was the right one. It gave the whole record a different vibe.

I am on a real Daniel Clowes jag currently too.

  17. #67
I had to look up Daniel Clowes.

Great title though. I am definitely hip to that jag.

And if I really like the album I must be Hip to the Hip to the Jag Jag.

Finally gave this a proper headphone spin that it deserves....this might now be my fav album that Sir Kauvs has done. I need at least one or two more listens to really get my thoughts across but holy shit this great. I will be back with more details. Also I just got a new turntable and bought this on CD before that....really wish I would've gotten the LP instead.

It's very good but ranks behind Unravelling and Bottled Out Of Eden for me, I miss the additional instrumentation on those.

You would think in lockdown I would be all over new releases, but I am currently coming at everything a month later. I only picked up the download at the weekend and still await my CD, but after a couple of plays I have to say this is a lovely recording. Of course it has the Kavus seal of quality, so that came as no surprise, but I am looking forward to spending much more time with this one.

A very satisfying affair. Thank you!

Kavus is the man, no doubt about it. A reassuring presence that makes our own stay here easier and friendlier.

    Keep them coming, man!
