    Phizer #2 today.

The only side effect - I didn't want to go back to work. (Oh, wait - I have that every day! )

TOTALLY agree, Scott! Get on the trails, in the woods, away from everything.

Or get on a bike and ride out in the countryside. or get a kayak and spend a few hours on the water. If nothing else, force yourself to spend at least an hour walking around your neighborhood every day.

It makes a huge difference, IMO.

Been 48 hours since Pfizer #2. No side effects....

I will say I drove 35 miles to another county to get both shots. King county here in Washington State was allocated A LOT more than the other counties. I'm in neighboring Pierce County and none were available. Between Shot #1 & #2, WA state opened up to 16yo & up. The Clinic was a bit more diligent in proving you had an appointment. Were they suspecting a "Rush" on the clinics from folks without appointments?

^^Congrats on your second dose. We had our first on Sunday (Moderna) and only had slightly sore arms.

I guess it all depends on where in the county you are. We're also in Pierce County, although on the other side of the moat. The pharmacy near Purdy (Key Peninsula) where we got our first shot had no wait and a bountiful supply.

Just returned home from my local Fry's (Kroger) Market. While shopping, the pharmacy announced over the intercom they had 3 extra Moderna doses. I walked in for a gallon of milk and a bottle of mouthwash. Walked out with my first jab.

Anyone here have some "anti-vaxxer" friends? I heard from one who told me he has it on the sly from an ex-Phizer employee that the vaccine is filled with a neurotoxin that is designed to kill you in 3 years.

You just can't make this shit up!

The next day after my first jab, no ill effects to speak of, apart from very slight discomfort at the injection site. No Microsoft agents tailing me out in public. No Borg implants growing out of my skull.

For those afraid of needles: a skilled injectionist can poke in just the right spot so you don't even feel it. Exactly the same way one doesn't feel an acupuncturists needles.

Actually, somebody DID make it up, and their followers bought it hook, line and sinker.

Wifey was a tad skeptical at first but listened to reason, her dad was a tough nut to crack but here we sit all fully vaxxed, all my friends of like age (mid 60's) are vaxxed, my sons 33 and 36 are in the club, the only one not graduated yet is my wife's aunt who's got an appointment for Pfizer #2 later this week. I honestly don't know anyone who's said they are not getting the shot at least in time, my co-worker had a case bad enough to spend time in hosp, he's waiting for 90 days from his release as is another co-worker. My office consists of only 4 people, my wife and I were lucky enough to avoid it, not so my other employees although only one was hospitalized, he's still got some breathing and stamina problems (he's 50, a non-smoking or drinking vegetarian), this thing is no joke.
