A couple more songs from the album - these would fit nicely on a Styx album IMHO

The rest of his 26 East songs are coming soon, to be released as 26 East Vol. 2. First single - which is amazing. If this is truly his finale, he is going out in style.

Wow - believe it or not, I was just thinking a few hours ago, "When is Dennis DeYoung's 26 East Vol. 2 coming?" That's weird. Anyway, yes, you're right: this sounds pretty damn good! Thanks for posting.

Another new track from Dennis’ new/last album, this one with Tom Morello on guitar.

i can't wait for this album... his last album of new songs.
this will be Dennis' swan song(s)
Styx is releasing a new album to steal some of DDY's thunder
but if JY is singing the lead single, can't help but think it's weak
Gowan is so under used when it comes to new songs.

That single, Ben, has three different lead vocalists on it. They take turns. JY only sings the first portion. Gowan drops in and does his best Freddie Mercury at the end.

I think that Misanthrope song is really fun and catchy, and has a Styx bombast that might go over well on radio, and could ride a small wave of nostalgia. Alas, radio is dead to new rock music.
