Which format are you using most?

Just an informal poll here, which format are you using most since the start of 2020 to listen to your music?

I use lossless files in my home office, where most of my listening is done. If I am in the living room where the big stereo rig is, then it's CDs (my turntable went tits up in 2018). If I want to play music that I have only on digital in the living room, I bring in the laptop and DAC, run it into that stereo.

I only stream when I'm working in the kitchen and its easier to annoy my wife with just streaming something obnoxious from the Echo device there. This morning she walked into "It's a Long Way to the Top" by AC/DC. "What is that racket?" "Oh, they're running a bagpipe through a guitar amp." Leaves, muttering about my musical taste. If it had been prog or jazz, I would have been accused of playing "wanker music".

Vinyl by a decent margin at home. Then CD rips both at home and in the car.

Since I got a new car last year, I have to use files on a USB stick, but I mostly rip them from CD. Not interested in streaming because it's too glitchy.

    Mostly streaming on Youtube.

I think there's a difference between a moderator starting a poll infrequently, vs. having to endure ten polls a week about favorite ELP album, favorite VdGG album, favorite Trevor Rabin album, etc.? I don't want this place to become inundated with polls but I have no problem with this one.

Anyway, I typically buy things on CD and then rip them to MP3 for playback on PC or smartphone. I'll usually only play the physical format at the radio station.

I buy a few CDs, mostly bands I feel close to, but mainly downloads from iTunes & Bandcamp. The CDs I usually rip to digital & play everything through iTunes on my phone.

My CDs and Bandcamp files become Apple lossless files on my MAC. Then playlists of these are placed on IPhone. I also listen to internet radio via the highest resolution streamed to my phone.

At home I mostly pay CD's. Otherwise I play mp3-files from my CD's, only German-language mainstream stuff, most of you don't know, like:
Bap, Brings, Udo Jürgens, Karat, Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Maschine (group from former Puhdys member Dieter 'Maschine' Birr) Ulla Meinecke, Wolfgang Niedecken, Die Prinzen, Puhdys, Rocklegenden (City, Karat, Puhdys) Santiano (featuring former Wally-member Pete Sage), Pe Werner and more.
