Hopefully not the Giants. All the skill players can't do their jobs if there is no offensive line. Somehow we have managed to not fix this for years and it is getting worse not better.

^ Depends who they are playing.

As for the FFL, I've never played in a league with scoring / points allocated like that, and it is really bizarre. I'm not referring to the high numbers either.

    it is pretty balanced now
there were years when one position dominated with too many points. I remember that kickers used to get way more points than they do now
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Hey I love it, but whenever I try to explain it to other FF players they look at me sideways.

yeah, this league is for serious football freeks with all those defensive positions

Well, here's the kind of thing I was talking about:

    Fan Pts Proj Player Stats
    621.00 100.87 J. Bradberry NYG - CB 4 Pass Def, 1 Int, 4 Tack Solo

    Fan Pts Proj Player Stats
    444.00 330.71 D. Prescott Dal - QB 450 Pass Yds, 3 Rush TD, 1 Pass TD

One of my opponent's cornerbacks had a nice game. 4 passes defended, 1 interception, 4 solo tackles. Nice game, but not mind blowing, right? For his efforts, he got 621 Fantasy points. That's 177 more points than my quarterback scored. All he did was throw for 450 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 3 more TDs. A phenomenal game, imo. This makes sense on what planet? My opponent also had a safety who had 1 interception, 1 sack, and 1 pass defended, and it netted him 510 points. Say what? This is freaking goofy, sorry. I'm not sour grapes guy, and have no real skin in the game, but this just doesn't make sense to me.

ok, I see that there is something to be addressed in the off season as far as the CB position goes. I'm gonna look at that closely but after 15 years running this league, I know that nothing can be done during the season. This oversight will be fixed for next season.

Though I gotta say that 4 Pass Def, 1 Int, 4 Tack Solo in one game is actually phenomenal and nowhere near any normal CB on any given Sunday

EDIT: ok, I looked and you are correct that CBs are a little point heavy. It seems that LBs need a very slight adjustment as well.

    but... err... dude... YOU WON!

??? Pretty sure I was behind at halftime, when I went to bed, and all my players were in the barn. So I don't know how that could have happened.

It's likely that a New York team is the worst team in the NFL. The question is, which one?

Browns are 2-1. The foreman of the jury is trying to hand signal the judge regarding the verdict on Baker Mayfield.

Maybe I'm being quick on the draw because he wasn't my choice in that draft, but I don't think he's an elite quarterback, or ever will be. Can he win if surrounded with an overwhelming amount of talent? Yeah, I suspect so. But I doubt he can carry a team. Will they pay him big bucks beyond his rookie deal? Ehhh...

Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana and his wife confronted a home intruder who attempted to kidnap their 9-month-old grandchild over the weekend, law enforcement officials confirmed on Sunday.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Montana told deputies that his grandchild was sleeping in a playpen on Saturday when an unknown woman entered their home in Malibu and grabbed the child. Montana and his wife, Jennifer, confronted the woman, whom authorities later identified as Sodsai Dalzell, tried to "de-escalate the situation" and asked her to give back their grandchild.

After a tussle, Jennifer Montana pried the child out of Dalzell's arms, law enforcement officials said.

The sheriff's office says that Dalzell fled the home but was later arrested. She faces kidnapping and burglary charges.
