Went to see BJS in Dallas at HOB to see their Pink Floyd show. They were doing their DSOM show where they play straight thru the album without stopping. A short break and they come back out to do an hour long set of Floyd hits. I had a chance to see the real Floyd once in 1988, so I was able to do a contrast & comparison. I don't believe that the show was promoted very well as the audience was small (about 300). BJS started out a bit shaky but got into gear by the time they reached Time. As well as they did with DSOM, they really shined in the second act, giving Shine On, Have a Cigar, Run Like Hell & In the Flesh some real power & emotion. Special mention goes to John Willoughby (Gilmour) the founder & leader of the band. They are based in Alabama and tour around the US. If you have a chance to see them in your area, go, you will not be disappointed.
