Colosseum without Hiseman and Greenslade,,, Guess if Mike Love can tour as the Beach Boys this is possible...

mind you they don't have a choice. could have called it "The Colosseum Experience" or something however...

I am disappointed that Dave Greenslade is not on board. Nonetheless I'd see this in a heartbeat if they ever came to the US. And... Malcolm Mortimore??! That's quite a surprise. Those of you who have seen 3 Friends might know whether he has the chops for this. I will assume "yes".

even with Greenslade on board, I'd probably pass...
No Jon, Barb or Dick HS
Nice to see MOrtimore (ex-GG) on drums, though.

Anyone that has been a member of Gentle Giant has more than enough chops!

I was much more interested by Don Airey's Colosseum II Remembered tour but it looks it has been cancelled.

It does seem a bit cheeky given that even the band that Hiseman put together with Clemson and Clarke just before he died wasn't using the Colosseum name.

No original members; that wouldn't stop me from seeing Colosseum if they'd come to the Boston area.

Malcolm Mortimore was on drums for the Colosseum tracks at last years Jon Hiseman tribute concert, did a fine job.

Dave Greenslade was missing that night due to illness and was a doubt on the run up to this announcement. Don Airey had been rumoured as the replacement (he also played on the Colosseum tracks that night) so the actual replacement is a surprise.
