That's a precise notice, indeed it is.

I used to have that video. It actually continues for a few more seconds in that spot with Bill saying, "This is MUCH better than playing drums, Jesus Christ!"

What a great clip! I miss Bruford's playing but respect his decision to retire even though he was still an incredible drummer at the age he put down the sticks to focus on things like spending time with the grandkids. What an incredible career.

Where would one be able to purchase this album? And will his signed autobiography be available in the US. You can order the signed copy through Burning Shed, but the shipping is about as much as the book. And will they ship to US?

No release details of the album have been given yet. It's not out for a while.

The autobiography is getting a regular US release, but the signed copies I think are only available through Burning Shed. Yes, they ship to the US.

The North American edition of the book is being released in September, still on Omnibus Press, but IPG (Independent Publishers Group) has the rights to it and will be handling the distribution to book retail. USA list price is $24.99 and Canadian is $33.99.

Some details on the album, now due out in the USA on May 15th:

Love Is is Howe’s 17th solo record, comprising ten songs: five with current Yes singer, Jon Davison, singing harmonies and playing bass guitar and five instrumental tracks rotating through the running order. The instrumentals keep a highly progressive rock guitar style to the fore, with songs that explore stories of lives lived and lives only just beginning. ‘Love Is A River’ is the central track, with several textural shifts, featuring a theme played on 12 string and steel guitars. Steve’s son, Dylan, features on drums. Many years in the making, Love Is offers a consistently strong and polished listening experience, forging the very best from the writing and playing throughout. Howe’s autobiography, All My Yesterdays is released by Omnibus on 16th April. Steve will be touring internationally with Yes throughout the year.

"I called the album 'Love Is' because it hints at the central idea that that love is important but also love of the universe and the ecology of the world is very important," says Howe."We are still destroying the planet and, I suppose, my songs show the yearning I have for the love of nature and how beauty, art and music all stem from nature. There is a theme about those things, love, beauty, ecology, nature and wonderful people.
Are we sure this interview was with Steve and not Jon A?
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.

It only just occurred to me that the title of this album is also the name of a Jon (and Vangelis) song.

Not impressed by this new track at all, sounds like an unfinished demo to me sadly. I have most of Steve Howe's albums but this might not be one of them I'm afraid.

I like it. Quite a bit in fact. Could have been a Yes song with vocals.
