What's the significance of the flea? An in-joke re: a fellow bassist?

I hadn't been following Sean Lennon until I read someone here discussing Sean's solo work with his girlfriend and while listening to Sabre Tooth on YT, discovered a live show supporting Monolith of Phobos and was surprised how really talented Sean is, and of course Les Claypool is excellent. The idea of these two opposite musical entities making great noise together is one of those surprises along the way on this path called life.

I really hope they hired a drummer for this one. Lennon’s pedestrian drumming just about ruins the debut for me.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

I'm in as well. Les and Sean balance each other out quite well.

Were I asked I don't believe I would say that I would be interested in a late period Beatles/early period King Crimson/Primus mash up but it works tremendously well...

Fleas and cockroaches will likely outlive the human race- who's to say that the fleas won't one day develop a hankerin' for some tasty psych funk?

    Good Morning...

The more I watch, and listen to this collaboration, the more I'm liking it! Just watched a live clip of them performing
'Court of the Crimson King'. Lennon plays some really fantastic guitar on the outro section. Please give it a watch!

I really like the sample track, even more psych than before. Count me in!

AUTO BUY! Their debut album is awesome and their live shows are killer. Lennon is the real deal, not just a famous name!

I don't doubt it. I've love to catch them live one day.

Scored this last sunday for a mere €2. Really enjoying it. Yes, I already knew the YT vids, but the CD is the "real deal" for me

"Very, very nice," said a man in the crowd,
    When the golden voice appeared.
She was gold alright, but then so is rust.
"Such a shame about the beard."
