    Cool! Hope he tours again.
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound.

I recently watched the shepperton studios 1973
    And was awestruck by him
What a daring young artist with a unique vision
    What a performer
Its clear he was in a different zone or plane with the rest of the band there is some clear distance between them
Yet the the result is very convincing
I also love IV and especially Passion
    A great artist

Peter is my favorite of the luminaries that I share my birthday with, but he & Henry Rollins ain't nearly as purty as Carol Lynley, Ewa Aulin and Susan Oliver!

That said, it's nice to know he'll always be older than me, because I'm definitely getting up there.

I was in my friggin' THIRTIES when I found PE, and now I can suddenly be rounded off to 60?! WTF man?

Anyway, my faves are I, III and the Birdy OST.
I concur that Intruder is fooking awesome, and has aged beautifully.

Ironically, PG also shares his birthday with Peter Nichols, lead singer of IQ.

In the swirling curling storm of desire
    Unuttered words hold fast
With reptile tongue, the lightning lashes
    Towers built to last
Darkness creeps in like a thief
    And offers no relief
Why are you shaking like a leaf?
Come on, come talk to me

    Down by the railway siding
In our secret world, we were colliding
In all the places we were hiding love
What was it we were thinking of?

(I can't choose! OK, maybe the second, but he has plenty more great lyrics over the decades.)

It's interesting that they were the ones to leave the band.

Really freaks me out that people born in 1950 are starting to turn 70. 1950s-born people still seem like they should be really young.

That wasn't too far post-WWII so it seems about right. What makes me pretty sad are the war vets that are in their 90s now...they will all be gone soon.
