I guess you would need a whole page just for Big Ears, or just not Prog enough.

Thanks for assembling this list Ian! I have 3rd row seats at the Terra Incognita festival in Quebec City in May 2020. Anekdoten is the biggest draw - they'll play all of Nucleus and tracks from Vemod on the Friday night and an assortment throughout their career on Saturday. I heard Disse Il Tuono is excellent and I'm a fan of La Maschera di Cera for the Sunday shows.

Yup, like Ramblin Man, there are huge band lists and very few are prog, I could try to edit it down but that would just kick off a "what is prog?" discussion.

Good Morning Ian and fellow music friends ~

FIMAV, the festival held in the Quebec province of Canada, emailed me the 2020 lineup. If this is an interest to the thread, the lineup can be found at fimav.qc.ca

Perhaps of a helpful interest to some

I'm toying with the idea of attending ROSFest and making a Florida vacation around it, but I must admit that I was hoping Arc Iris was a typo. It's not. I'll have to give all the bands a listen. There's no one I'm dying to see, but if the totality is enough to tip the scales, I may go.

Yes, thanks for putting together that list! Terra Incognito is most tempting to me for Anekdoten, but I like La Maschera di Cera as well. I’m not familiar with the majority of the listed bands. I must be living in the past.

Freakshow festival in Germany seems quite enticing...

Anyone been there? It would be interesting to hear any experiences.

It is a fantastic festival, quite different from the RIO, and more... german? more beer and sausages and kraut...
It is also on a smaller scale so it is more intimate.
Wurzburg is beautiful (though there is no Albi Cathedral ), I have been to the festival 3 times and all were worthwhile.
This year current lineup is still missing one (or 2?) headliners, and the facebook page suggests that they are hoping for a Present show, that would definitely tip my scales...

Agree, I wonder how they will go over there, then again they have toured with Coheed and Cambria a lot and have been kind embraced by their audience. Speaking of which, a guy that I work with is going on a Coheed and Cambria cruise next fall and Thank You Scientists are one of the performers along with some other prog acts including The Dear Hunter and ProgDay alumnus 3.
