Has Roine Stolt sold any of his artistic works?
The older I get, the better I was.

I can rember seeing it in a show on one hit wonders. One episode was about Driver seat and I can remember there was told he was a painter and did the artwork for a couple of albums.

Klaus Blasquiz is also a great graphic artist.

It's been mentioned on this thread previously, but Tull's Jeffrey Hammond has been an artist since leaving the band in the mid-70s.

Gearge Gershwin also made art, but I don't think he ever sold something.

Here in South Florida, there is an art gallery called the Wentworth Gallery that has locations in both the Boca Raton mall and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (the guitar hotel) which has a rotating group of musicians who paint and sell artwork. Among the group are:

Rick Allen of Def Leppard (amazing pieces considering he has only one arm)
Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead
    Paul Stanley of Kiss

They also sell pieces from Ronnie Wood and Ric Ocasek (RIP)

If you want to check out some of the pieces, you can see them on the WG website at http://www.wentworthgallery.com/

I already mentioned him in post #14 above.

But why do you think he is not a musician? That's kind of a weird statement.
And if there were a god, I think it very unlikely that he would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence - Russell

Well, I guess that I meant it in the sense that others here were probably thinking: instrumentalists. But, yes, he is a musician.

I forgot about Woody. I recall he did the cover artwork for the Eric Clapton Crossroads boxset from the late 80's:

I believe he did other album covers, as well, as did Charlie Watts. I recall an article in Rolling Stone, I think, back in the late 80's, when it looked like the Stones were done, where one or the other was doing a showing of his artwork. At some point, I think i twas Mick who's name came up, and whichever one it was, either Woody or Charlie says "Mick can't even write his own name!".

    A.G Weinberger

Back in the late nineties I built a big addition on a house for a real nice couple. They knew a Greek artist they had paint the interior and he had someone helping from Transylvania helping him paint named A.G. Weinberger who gave me one of his cds Transylvania Avenue. He played and sang the blues. Unfortunately the couple has since passed away leaving two children still in school. She had a brain disorder where her head eventually just rested on her shoulder and he had throat cancer. They died one month apart.

Speaking of house painters, there's the Keith Richards story of going into Chess Records and seeing Muddy Waters on a ladder painting the ceiling. True? Who knows...
You say Mega Ultra Deluxe Special Limited Edition Extended Autographed 5-LP, 3-CD, 4-DVD, 2-BlueRay, 4-Cassette, five 8-Track, MP4 Download plus Demos, Outtakes, Booklet, T-Shirt and Guitar Pick Gold-Leafed Box Set Version like it's a bad thing...

Tika-boom! Try the veal, it’s fabulous. And don’t forget, “tipping” is not a city in China.

    I'll throw out Daniel Johnston.

Also I think Dan Fogelberg did all of his albums. I assume he also sold some of that artwork.
