I'm not lazy. I just work so fast I'm always done.
As a house painter. I believe in the early 80s, he and Jimmy Carl Black had a house painting company in Texas.
Just remembered, Malcolm Mooney of Can also paints. A couple of friends down the street from me have a painting Malcolm sold them when he stayed with them while he played in the Boston area. It looks like a lady's nether region. Now that their daughter has reached puberty, the painting no longer hangs in their living room.

Jerry Garcia also did some work in the visual arts, doing paintings, drawings and etchings. As I recall, there was a line of neckties with his artwork on them.
Forgot the late Herman Brood.
I am the happy owner of this original drawing to the cover of Kraan: Andy Nogger made by Peter Wolbrandt, but I dont think he ever made paintings, had exhibitions or sold any.
