Just remembered, Malcolm Mooney of Can also paints. A couple of friends down the street from me have a painting Malcolm sold them when he stayed with them while he played in the Boston area. It looks like a lady's nether region. Now that their daughter has reached puberty, the painting no longer hangs in their living room.

However, if you want a portrait of a stream or some trees, look elsewhere.

Bob Dylan did the covers to Big Pink and Self Portrait, though I doubt he could sell that kind of work except to Dylan fanboyz.

I can't vouch if they also made money as painters, but these certainly are fine artists.

Yusef Islam (Cat Stevens) is a great illustrator. He studied art at Hammersmith School of Art.
Tony Bennett is an accomplished painter.
Freddie Mercury was a great illustrator. He earned his degree at Art and Graphic Design at Ealing Art College.
Marilyn Manson and Bowie were also fine painters.

The classical world also has its share.

Felix Mendelssohn, Gershwin, Schoenberg, Ingrid Filter (classical pianist), Steven Hough (pianist),
And if there were a god, I think it very unlikely that he would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence - Russell

Peter Brotzmann(saxophone) is a graphic artist(designs many of his album covers).

The late Hans Reichel(self-made guitars/daxophones) was also a graphic designer and created typefaces.Barmeno and FF Dax are two of Reichel's typeface designs.

Jerry Garcia also did some work in the visual arts, doing paintings, drawings and etchings. As I recall, there was a line of neckties with his artwork on them.

I am the happy owner of this original drawing to the cover of Kraan: Andy Nogger made by Peter Wolbrandt, but I dont think he ever made paintings, had exhibitions or sold any.

He's not a musician, but Tony Bennett is a highly accomplished painter.

That's correct. He painted the images that were used for a couple of the Sniff-albums, like Fickle Heart.
Although the band seems to be touring again his main business is painting: https://www.paulrobertspaintings.co.uk/
