I got all excited there for a minute and thought Three Friends the GG tribute band were back.

I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.
Its official
No doubt one of these shows will be filmed for a DVD/Blu-ray release.
I'm guessing it will be Daryl Stuermer on guitar again. It would be cool if SH and PG popped in for
an impromptu version of I Know What I Like at one or more of the shows.
It looks like it's true. Variety Magazine says a tour sans Gabriel and Hackett will be announced Wednesday morning. I attended the very last 2007 show at The Hollywood Bowl in 2007. Although at the time, the band still had their chops, the lack-luster medleys of some old prog materiel didn't cut the grade for me. So if this is a repeat of 2007, I'll pass. Really for me the true Genesis died after Peter and Steve's departures. For me and my prog friends, we still say "And Now There Are None." I'll take Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited shows any day over this. Bless him for what he does to hold the REAL Genesis torch so high!

Day dawns dark...it now numbers infinity.
If this is indeed happening, I find it sad.
Sleeping at home is killing the hotel business!
I'll take Hackett, The Musical Box, and The Genesis Show in small theaters with free parking and reasonably priced tickets, and most likely a better set list, over Genesis in a big arena or stadium with high ticket and parking costs
Ain't that John Wilkinson mentioned above the guy behind the Genesis Cover band "Mama"?
So that is what is coming back?
I hope it's the real comeback of the band Moonshot (see the dedicated thread somewhere on PE).
If it's a Genesis comeback, I do hope the "three friends" are really up to it. If PC needs to remain seated, I want to see Tony Banks dance around.
Well done deal... the real deal. They will be touring with Daryl and Nick... They are in the BBC2 studio as I type this.
Not really news, maybe a little different:

So, finally it wasn't speculation.
And maybe a new album?
