IFC was running full old Monty Python episodes Saturday morning and I caught a few. Although I have watched the occasional sketch on Youtube, it has been years since I have watched entire episodes of the TV series. I had forgotten how wonderfully weird what they did was. Even today, much of that stuff is groundbreaking, although I am not sure how much of that stuff they could get away with in today's more politically correct world.

The more I think about it, Jones old woman in the stable with the three wise men at the beginning of Life Of Brian really set the tone for the rest of the movie. You just knew you were in for a good time.

Arthur "Two-Sheds" Jackson. Always loved this one.

2020 has started off with one really crappy bang. Peart, Jones, Kobe - and I didn't even like Kobe, but damn what an impact he had.

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

The funeral was today. I believe Palin, Cleese and Gilliam were there, but not Idle.

Did John Cleese send a bouquet in the shape of a giant foot, like he did for Graham's Chapman's funeral?
