Rascal Reporters Patreon launched for new album - RRkives being opened!

2019 was a massive year for us in Rascal Reporters - we put out a new studio release, digital reissues and remasters of older material, while working on our new full length album 'The Strainge Case Of Steve' - 18 tracks of all-new material written by myself and Steve!

Thanks everyone so much for your support in 2019. We are really excited to continue with the project and feel like what we have completed so far for the new album is some of our favourite Reporters material yet. But we could really use any and all help in getting it to completion!

We have set up a Patreon page where in return for a pledge of $5/month, we will be releasing exclusive music from the RRkives each month - and have pre-loaded the page with 4 songs! These are the massive archives of unreleased Reporters music recorded between 1974-2008. There is also a second level of pledge ($10/month) that will provide you with pre-release downloads of any forthcoming releases, like the upcoming Ridin' On A Bummer re-mix.

Having always been a studio-based group (and now split across continents), there is no opportunity for live performance or touring for income for the project. Steve Kretzmer is now fully focused on creating the highest quality Rascal Reporters project possible - but being beyond working age, any support from fans financially goes a long way in helping sustain day to day life and providing supports to allow for the relative frivolity of the creation and composition of this music on an independent scale. All funds from this Patreon will be going directly to Steve!

We've got a GREAT Patreon-exclusive release coming next month (February) - a whole album of early unreleased & remastered Reporters studio material from the RRkives. Like a pre-debut album - fans who have listened to Elegant Decay know that that era of the band was heavily complex-Canterbury and this record I'm putting together for Patreon really really shows that. Excited about this one.
