If Clemens or Bonds gets in - Cano will be there eventually.
If the big two dont go in - none of 'em will.

Apparently, Bartolo Colon, age 47, wants to return to the Mets for a farewell stint.

^ It's either that or fight Mike Tyson.
Major League Baseball umpire Brian O'Nora was arrested in Ohio in human trafficking sting
Well, that came out of left field.

Looks like Cleveland is finally changing their team name. I assume Chief Wahoo is also getting retired.
It's about time.

Braves and Blackhawks can’t be too far behind.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.
Chief Wahoo was retired in the previous off season.

^ We enjoyed his time in Cleveland. Late 70s or early 80s. I recall one rain delay, to demonstrate the spitter on steroids, he dunked balls in a bucket and then pitched them at game speed to the catcher. Tons of movement, didn't know where it was going.

^ Nevermind. Upon further review, I think that was Gaylord Perry.![]()

RIP Tommy Lasorda.
I thought he died years ago. That Mandela thing.
Yanks agree but not yet signed with DJ Lemieux. Glad they are getting their best player back.
RIP Hank Aaron, one of the greats on and off the field.

WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.
Take away Aaron's 755 home runs and he still had over 3,000 hits.
Hard to believe, but he's actually underrated.
Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
RIP, indeed.
He's underrated? I would imagine he's in most top ten lists.

Agreed. Aaron was not the defender that Mays was and didn't have the swagger that other great HR hitters (specifically Ruth) had.
He is the premier run-generator of his generation and, perhaps, of all time.
Hopefully the Braves will finally retire the "tomahawk chop" and replace it with the "Hammer."
RIP.

RIP Hammer. One of the all time greats. Hall of Famers are passing at an alarming rate lately.
I became a baseball fan watching Aaron play. AFAIC, he'll be the home run king until someone passes him legit. RIP and thanks for the memories, Hank!

Happy with what I have to be happy with.
RIP, to the one true king of homers.
