They asked for 10 but I'll give you 80. Because I don't give a shit about what they asked. Because I am lazy and I don't really care what they asked about. I'll give you 80. Now here it goes...

you will not regret buying it
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Is that Matana Roberts that good? It crept up in lists of other people that I care about their opinion.

I guess I will have to check tomorrow. It's 5 o'clock in the morning and I am wasted and a wreck.

If you like theatrical progressive jazz of AACM variety you may find the first chapter one of the best jazz concept albums.

Also mind that the next three "chapters" are somewhat different, less "organized" and more like streams of spiritual free jazz consciousness. Check the fourth to see if you follow her drift.

OK, it took me a while, but I've settled on a nominal top-10 for the 2010s. Here they are, in chronological order:

Areknamés - In Case of Loss (2010)
Helmet of Gnats - High Street (2010)
    Nerve Institute - Architects of Flesh-Density (2011)
Masal - Viens Des Quatre Vents (2014)
    Ghost Rhythms - Madeleine (2015)
Deus Ex Machina - Devoto (2016)
    Kotebel - Cosmology (2017)
    Deluge Grander - Ocenarium (2017)
Accordo Dei Contrari - Violato Intatto (2017)
All Traps on Earth - A Drop of Light (2018)

Honorable Mention: Eccentric Orbit - Creation of the Humanoids (2014). Yeah, I'm biased on this one, but had another band made this album, it would have been in or very near my top 10 for the decade. So what the hell!
