The Wizards of Winter are a proggy Christmas band and have three albums out. I'm a fan. These are a couple examples from them:

Moon Safari fans should take note that Simon Åkesson's other band (or is it his main band now) Accent have released a Christmas Album: Christmas All the Way

Here is a Swedish Christmas song from that album arranged by Simon

One of the more powerful pieces of music.

This is really enjoyable and very smartly done. I'm not sure it would fit into all my Christmas playlists but would definitely work for the Rock/Alt Rock ones.

For a great, fresh take on some Xmas tunes I want to plug Joe's (our own Guitarplyrjvb) stuff, including his remake of ELP's Father Christmas at https://soundcloud.com/guitarplyrjvb...hristmas-tunes. He really did an excellent job of it.
The combined fortunes of the world's 26 richest individuals reached $1.4 trillion last year — the same amount as the total wealth of the 3.8 billion poorest people.

Buddhabreath's Rescued from Oblivion album from the 80's. The critics are raving (raving mad that is).

Thanks for the heads up. I only had the first 2 and didn’t realize there were more. The last 4 and the Christmas II are on their way to Casa Garyhead!
