This is really nice stuff, but if this is fusion, I guess I'm confused about what "fusion" is.
Cobra handling and cocaine use are a bad mix.

Works for me. Emphasis on the jazz.

Whatever, f*ck labels, it's good music.

I always knew Kaspar Rast in a gifted drummer he has a natural sense of groove and tightness and knows much about dynamics and restraint but he here shows his ability to stretch out and rock
    what a lovely drummer

is it Jazz Rock or Fusion if it doesn't feature any solos?
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Absolutely, but TBH, I'd even throw in Stoner Rock for a good measure as well

Almost always for any band, but very true in this case.
I wish they could come to somewhere in the States I could get to.
Ronin has made it a couple of times in the last few years..... Wishful thinking.

Exactly where I was coming from - my experience with fusion tends to be "look how fast I can play" solos.

Kind of fits in with Nik Bartsch's definition of Ronin as Zen Groove Jazz Rock. Fantastic stuff, love these albums, would love to see them live. Sha & Rast are great on these.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Reminds me of a Hawkwind type jamband without the spaciness.
