I waited at least one nanosecond after I got home last night to begin. Great restraint, eh?

How about a walking cane violin?

That would be the most proggish walking cane.

Good to hear you're doing better. Getting old sucks, but its still beats not getting old.

Glad you're recovering. Geez. After falling from a ladder a few years back and tearing up my leg, I know wound care specialists and infections and tissue removal are no laughing matter. Keep on keepin' on, amigo. Walking with a cane beats not walking, any day.

Welcome back, Steve, to the PE show that never ends. Come inside. Come inside!

Glad things are going better for you Steve. All the best...

Glad you're okay. Does daytime TV get better or even worse when you're heavily medicated in a care facility? No matter, just thankful you're still with us.

Glad this episode had a happy ending Geez. Forget the cane suggestions. You need a staff, and let the hair and beard grow out. The Gandalf look is in this year.

The only problem with a sword cane is it's technically a concealed weapon. You need a license for it...

Glad you're back, sir. And congratulations on the successful healing.

I figure I should post this so no one will think I've had a setback or whatever.....

If you only see the occasional post from me for a while it's because while I'm going through both dressing changes (for a few more months at least) as well as physical therapy for several more weeks (all at home), pain meds I don't want to take but have to at least before sleep (anything that starts with Oxy scares the shit out of me) keeping me foggy on awakening for a couple of hours before all the cobwebs are gone, and my kids (thankfully), with their own families & lives to take care of checking on me both in person and by phone, my energy level a lot of the time allows me to load my vape and turn on the TV and that's about it.

I hope to be back to my usual wise-ass verbose self before too long, but I don't want anyone of (what I consider) my good friends worrying ad interim.
