    Robert Fripp Rig Rundown

This looks interesting not only for the fact that he doesn't allow his tech to touch his strings! Never seen that before.

All that modern rackmount (digital) modelling gear: and yet the trusty Roland GR-1 (13-pin) remains--fine with me--I'm a Roland guy myself!

A couple thoughts without watching the whole thing -

Do they ever address the elephant in the room (the guitar tech playing with a towel)?

Glad to see the whole segment is 17 minutes long. I saw they did one on Joe Bonamassa that was over 30 minutes (believe me, i didn't stay past a minute and a half) and i know Fripp has a lot more going on than that guy.

Really cool to see Premier Guitar gained access to this.

    He prefers a drier sound.

    Thanks!

...but it is only part 1. The interesting stuff would be in Part 2. Anyone find it yet?

Premier Guitar answered it in the comments: Biff sweats a lot and cloth is used to keep his perspiration from corroding the strings and greasing up the fretboard/neck.

(It was simply the obvious explanation)

If I didn't know any better I would have guessed this is the long awaited return of Norbert Fragg.
Perhaps finding the happy medium is harder than we know.
