This only goes to show how colossally successful and inexplainably important Steven Wilson is.

I want to be a chick magnet too. I'm going to remix Jethro Tull and Gentle Giant, if that's what it takes.

It sure looks that way. I only wonder what that "dead end street"-sign means...

Whatever you do, don't mention Prog when talking to women, I'm sure he would have only mentioned Roxy Music and Tears for Fears

Edit: Are there even any women on this site??

    2. Some buildings are across the road from a dead-end street.

Rotem Rom - she has a private Facebook page, but her cover photo has her two daughters featured.

I predict Steven's new CD will be a tribute to his new wife, and will be 100% love ballads. Tentative title? I predict CD Rom.

This very thread says a bit about the current conditions of relevance.

I mean, only a wizard can become an alleged success within a niche like 'rock music' whose general success is all but in yore. I suppose it's the fine art of make-believe which has kept the notion of "prog success" somewhat as alive as Linda Blair in a freezing bedroom anno 1973.

And why on Earth wouldn't we have that notion live on half a century later? I hope it continues.

Well at a recent NJ show the front row was “ littered” with a few 30-something(?)-ish gorgeous women so...

Congrats to Steven! I hope we will all see a new album later on, even if surely all of us know how it is to be in love.

I'm concerned that SW's next album is going to be a complete 'sell out', surely that's the only way he can fill the 02 in London. I have very low expectations, can he afford to alienate his long time fans while gambling that he can win many new ones? There are even ads all over YouTube for his 'tour' next year, he's obviously got some big bucks invested in him but I cant see how that would happen if the next album was a return to form full on prog experience.

If she breaks Steven's heart, the resulting album will be a classic.

Or he will remix Peter Hammill's Over in super-surround...

Maybe Steven wants some financial success and recognition at this stage in his career. And if so, can you blame him?

I hope he doesn't waste his time chasing that dream. Commercial success for a prog rock guy in his 50s is extremely unlikely.

Well I think he's already pretty wealthy but yeah I expect that after all the years in the wilderness he would like some wider recognition. I just hope he doesn't do it at the expense of his art with an album of Abba disco tracks.
