Perhaps not the best time to publish a song named 'Dezember' (December), but I can't help it. I just wrote it and named it Dezember, because December 2002 my mother died and December 2020 my dad died, so an important month for me, like September for someone from Green Day (Wake me up when september ends).

This is great, I love the low tones that start around 0:32. Something discordant and jarring but soothing about them at the same time? Really striking effect. The writing in the piano has a very searching and thoughtful quality. Seems like the tone on the piano shifts about 2:30? Great sense there of torments & despair piling up, very subtle but effective build of tension to the more confident and neo-classical piano at 3:00ish. Love the surprise when the extra synths come in at 5:25, another pivotal moment in the composition. The thick synth washes starting at 9:00ish give a nice climactic feeling. I like the way the left-side synth pushes against the main rhythm around 11:20.

My apologies Renate, I think I used the wrong term, perhaps dissonant in the one section in the beginning. My lack of musical training perhaps the root of the comment.
If anyone can guess at what I was trying to say, please feel free to correct the comment.
Anyway, the amount of hard work, time and thought you put in the composition shows.

It's a cool effect! I've tinkered with various things to try to get a plucked double bass effect in my own work, and haven't really found anything effective, so it was cool to hear.

Very different from the stuff I have heard you present here. I like the jazz Hop vibe and also the gamey nature of some of the sounds. could easy be a Grand Theft Auto track. Yeah!

As for my track, yeah it's definitely a different genre, but you've got to expand and try something new sometimes.

Thanks for the listens guys . It really matters. Saxophones, 1935 Vintage Conn 10 M tenor and wee Kitty the Fake Aliexpress , Curvy Soprano, who I love.

With the help of machines, mechanical and electronic, "I make all the noises around here. Good ,bad and ugly, and I usually take it as a bit of a complement when any of my Noise is compared to folks that have had hit numbers".

I like that soprano. Not something you hear that much I think. It's always nice to see, or hear a less used saxophone. Some weeks ago I was in Breda and I saw someone playing a bass saxophone.

Very powerful vocal here, and I agree with the other folks about the use of saxes. The synth background is very nicely constructed too, it gives the arrangement a sense of movement and complexity that resonates with the seashore imagery in the lyric. I also love how the sax solo continues behind the vocals when they come back in at 3:21; it helps carry the climactic feeling of that solo.

Oh My - a song story about YES, no doubt. Very catchy and original. I almost laughed out loud. But I guess that's the story with a lot of bands in this rather back street kind of music that we all grew up with and still like.
