    Who is Rip Taylor?
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound.

All of the entertainers I grew up watching are dying off. [emoji31]. He was outrageous. RIP Rip. Kind of strange typing that.

Gawd, he was still alive? I would've guessed he died thirty years ago.

Anyone's dead pool have Rip Torn and Rip Taylor dying within a couple of months of each other?

Anyway, rest in peace to a guy who could make me snort soda out of my nose when I was much, much younger. I think the first time I saw him was on Mike Douglas and it was so over-the-top compared to Mike's usual bland fare.

Maybe he's annoying the &*#$^ out of Ginger Baker. No, wait--he'd probably be in the other place.

Add character actor Jonathan Harris (Dr Smith on the original Lost in Space) to that group. On another forum, there was a RIP thread for Burt Reynolds. And someone posted an account of a night when Burt and a movie producer had a dinner with both Charles Nelson Reilly and Jonathan Harris. Burt and the producer just sat back and let those two tell tales. When the restaurant closed, most of the staff were crowded around the table howling with laughter as the two men continued trying to one-up the other with tales of theater and Hollywood. Damn, I wish it had been recorded.
