so much has been said about Baker's life in various books

I thought his music was decent
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

He hated a lot of people, more like. His trio records with Charlie Haden & Bill Frisell were superb, everything else outside Cream was a mixed bag- some great, some ... not great.
