That Thing That Happens When Listening On Spotify...

You type in the name of an artist you read has a new release, click on their latest release and hit play. You listen for about 20 minutes and say, "Geez, they sound exactly like Soft Machine in their mid to late 70s incarnation". Then you realize that you never touched the first song on the album and you've been listening to the last thing you played - Soft Machine live from the aforementioned period.

No matter what anyone says, you are the decider of how you will listen to music.

Sounds like a señor moment kind of thing.

    This is likely true.

I've had a few run-ins with Señor Momento myself recently
Digital playback brought high fidelity to the masses and audiophiles will never forgive it for that
