Aron Eisenberg aka "Nog" on DS9 REST IN PEACE

Aron Eisenberg aka Nog Rest in Peace :'( :'( :'( :'(

I guess he had 2 kidney transplants, the most recent in 2015.

I started following him on Twitter over the last 6 months, ever since the DS9 Doc gained a lot of steam.

50 years old, way too young.

Sorry to hear this news. DS9 is my favorite of the ST series, and IMO Nog was a well-written character played very convincingly.

Really sorry to hear this. 50 is indeed way too young.

I'm on a star trek group on the book of faces, and he was a member and regular poster there as well, so his passing was a little more personal to a lot of us there. He seemed like a really awesome guy and a lot of fun. RIP.

In a flash forward episode, they showed Nog sitting in the captain's chair of a starship. Shatner famously cut a scene of George Takei sitting in that chair.

I'm a member in one of the groups there too. Which group are you a member of? I've never seen any posts by anyone officially associated with Trek in the group I'm in.
