My original song in a new movie

One of the original songs (Monterey Madness) from my Surf band's debut release is included in the film "If These Porch's Could Talk"..."A small town murder mystery" by Running Wild Films....They actually use more than 3 minutes of the song which in film-time, is an eternity. The film will start streaming on Amazon in OCT.

    Congrats! I'd be very proud.

Thanks everyone. I do have to say this is a nice high-light to an otherwise "non-eventful" music career....of course my Mom is trilled for me and the band...but that is a Mom's job, Ain't it?

...and thanks to those who went to our Bandcamp page to check out our debut album.

Though I really loved my mom, she was never proud of what I did with my music. She mostly bragged about what my nephews achieved.

But congratulations, I'll listen to it some other time.

Love it and Congratulations.. of course at a certain time of life after years of putting out various forms of music, it becomes about doing it for self satisfaction and the love of music, writing, performing, etc.
And to have your music used in a independent movie is truly a great achievement and the 3 of you can be very proud.

Coming from a generation who enjoyed his high school days in the early 60's, listening to the Beach Boys and The Surfaris, The Shadows, Dick Dale &the Deltones, and of course The Ventures, your music brought a big giant nostalgic smile to my face.
An era of innocence before the sh*t really hit the fan. I graduated in 1965 and by Jan of 1966 I was listening to drill sergeants yelling and not the sweet guitars and verby sound of Surf music.

Great work and again, Congrats, and of course your mom is awesome!

And the code is a play, a play is a song, a song is a film, a film is a dance...
