New Live 2cd/dvd for Ange !

As always, lurking just under the radar, a new live package from Ange.

Happy! the last studio CD was very strong, and this from that tour.

And they are one of the very few 70s band that still deliver…

But they don't sing in English (my god they do sing...) and Wilson Morse is not on it....

And Cover Versions of Yes are more important anyway..

Not much info at that link. What's on it? Who's in the band these days? I haven't heard any new Ange since "?" (not counting Emile Jacotey Resurrection as new).

Resurrection is sort of a reimagining of Emile, certainly not note for note and with parts added and/or missing. Great stuff!

I don't have this live package but I expect it to be great. The current line-up does the old songs justice. Regarding the most recent songs, I often prefer the live versions because they really are given another dimension on stage. (And the sound of the studio albums suffers from over-compression IMHO.) I missed this tour, unlike previous ones, so this will be a nice addition.

Yes, the new stuff gains a lot live. As an excample ESCALE À CH'TILAND has a on the first view rather poor song choice,
but boy is this an awesome live Album.

Will definetly buy the new one if I can find it for a decent Price...
