    Rosalie Cunningham

The wait is over. Former Purson lead singer, Rosalie Cunningham, has released her debut LP via Cherry Red and it's awesome!!!

    Any fans here?

Listened to it once so far and I liked it. Better than the last Purson album for sure.

I quite liked Purson so I'm looking forward to this.

Good for Esoteric/Cherry Red for stepping in and getting it released!

I was also a Purson fan. Will have to check this out.

Listened to one song off it but was not impressed. I aknowledge though, that it was better than the second Purson album.

I'm new to the work of Rosalie Cunningham, but I really like what I hear on her solo-debut. For me it's a nice mix of classic rock/psychedelic rock with theatrical rock made by the likes of Valensia, Queen, some Kate Bush and early Crack The Sky. I also hear things that remind me of Poe (especially her strong Haunted) and Happy Rhodes.
There's also a fine ballad on it, Nobody Hears, with some great Memotron-sounds:

Listened to the the whole album four times up till now. My first impression remained; better than the 2nd Purson but nothing that stands out.

Rosalie Cunningham's voice astonishingly fits the progressive rock genre! I'm not surprised that the album is critically acclaimed.
My fave song from the album is epic A Yarn from the Wheel.
