    Roy Taylor Strattman (1974-2019)

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share some terrible news. Roy Strattman, our friend, our guitarist, our musical brother, has passed away. Many of you knew of the assault he survived a few years ago. He was slowly recovering, but some injuries are just too hard to overcome, no matter how strong a spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of love and music. We love you forever, Roy. Here's a link to his last, magnificent performance at the Rites of Spring Festival where he shared his debut solo album in its entirety:

So sorry to hear this. No one should have to endure what Roy went through. At least now the pain he went through for so long has ended. My heart goes out to Roy's family, friends, and bandmates.

Steve - I am truly heartsick to hear this. I truly enjoyed the times Roy & I talked. He was a wonderful man.

All my best wishes & thoughts to you & J and the Little Atlas & Strattman families.

Such a shame. Loved his performance at RoS, as well as the album.

Really sorry to hear this. I met him at ROSfest and he seemed like a really nice guy. Tragedy what happened to him.

So sad...may his spirit soar like an eagle and now be free.
