Elder (heavy pscyh rock) new EP

I think these guys have been mentioned in a few ongoing threads (stoner thread, perhaps), but I figured they deserve their own thread.

I picked up a couple of their albums sorta randomly when I bought the last Motorpsycho album through Stickman Records and am very glad I did.

Is it just the one song or am I not seeing others? But yeah, Lore and Reflections of a Floating World are essential stoner/psych!

Great band - saw them last month and they blew the building up. Looking forward to this.

Picked it up yesterday. Featured it on my Facebook page this morning. It's basically Elder jamming krautrock style. I like it, though some of it may sound a tad repetetive. The final minutes of the the final track are really solid. If this is the direction the band is going to take, then the next studio album should be excellent.

As predicted/expected this is another excellent release. Shifting more towards kraut/space rock - there were signs of this in a song like Sonntag from Reflections From A Floating World. It suits them right. Nick Di Salvo is a great guitarist, a master of guitar riffs, but also of atmospheric soundscapes.
