    Hackett Reissues

A large chunk of Hackett's catalog seems to be getting reissued. Is there anything notable about these reissues (aside from putting the albums back in print, assuming they were OOP?)

Steve mentioned that Darktown has three bonus tracks, I don't know about the others. I do know they come in 6-panel digipacks. I'm glad Guitar Noir will be out there again, that's one of my favourites from Steve.

Dosn't look like there are any extra's on the forthcoming 'Till' We Have Faces' resissue, which is kinda odd as the previous re-issue did ???

Wasnt there talk about Steven Wilson giving the surround treatment to one of the albums?

Is Bay of Kings going to be included? That's top of my list.

    Yeah, I love that one.

    Momentum, too.

Reissued again in 2013. No, Bay Of Kings and Momentum are not included (I love both of those as well, beautiful records).

These are the new reissue titles:

    Til We Have Faces
    Guitar Noir
    Darktown
(w/ 3 bonus tracks: "Flame", "Coming Home to the Blues", "Fast Flower")
    Feedback '86
    To Watch The Storms
    Wild Orchids
    Genesis Revisited (part 1)

I understand the three bonus tracks on the previous re-issue of 'Til We Have Faces' eventually turned up on 'Feedback '86', so it would make sense not to include them this time. Maybe some live renditions of the albums tracks could have been included as extras as at the moment i'm struggling to justify buying them again !!!

Bugger. Those must be tied up with another label. Why won't they reissue them then? But at least it now looks like Steve was able to get all of his 90s titles back from Kim Poor. Hope he didn't have to give her too much $$$ for them.

Glad to see Darktown which has been.OOP for years in the States and the bonus tracks make it that much sweeter.

Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Sounds like he has control of his back catalog again. Camino was owned partly by his ex-wife I believe.

Has any remastering gone on? I heard track orders were changed for one album? Does anyone have complete details?

Steve owns Bay of Kings and Momentum, I believe. Perhaps we'll see those later.

I have some of these but glad to have them back out again. I enjoy all the 'rock' albums in this series (not so familiar with the other ones he does).
