The full Royce Hall '75 show is on this... oh yeah baby.
Assuming this will actually happen this is clearly something I need to buy.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.
Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.
I'm only here to reglaze my bathtub.
Good news!
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

Now listed on Amazon with an August 30 release date. Can't wait!
And what's this I hear about a Hot Rats 50th anniversary deluxe release? That would also be a must-have!

Ok, long-time Zappa avoider here seeking recommendations. His discography is beyond huge so guide me to something that will impress me. Here’s my criteria:
I don’t like brass.
I don’t like Frank’s goofy ‘ironic’ voice.
I like stuff like Occam’s Razor.
I like most modern classical.
I have Hot Rats and One Size Fits All, from which I enjoy the non-brass and non-goofy voice tracks, about 50% of the records.
So, will I enjoy the collection being discussed in this thread? If so, what else. If not, what?

Waka has quite a bit of brass soloing. I'd go with Sleep Dirt instead. The 2012 all instrumental edition. London Symphony is a great double set if you like modern orchestral.
As far as classical stuff goes, I think the Yellow Shark is his best realized work.

Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]
"Death to false 'support the scene' prog!"
please add 'imo' wherever you like, to avoid offending those easily offended.
Zappa = autobuy! This addition is most welcome.

"Revised Music for Low-Budget Symphony Orchestra" is on Spotify. Sounds great, as I expected.
