Composition for piano, I wrote in 1994

I finally recorded this composition I wrote in 1994, based on an old composition I wrote in 1979.

A bit too minimalist for me, but I appreciate the amount of work it takes to write and enter each note into a sequence. I had a very wonderful surprise at the conclusion of this piece as I listened on your Soundcloud page, the song Erde, Wasse seamlessly played next and I enjoyed that very much. Very haunting at times, and your very tasteful use of reverb adds to the effect.
I am also curious as to the origin of the painting you're using for Rising Hope, care to elaborate?

Thanks for sharing your music, and it's good to hear things resurrected from earlier compositions, given new life and exposure.

The painting was made by my dad, from some art-card I once bought in London.

That is a wonderful painting, I love it! Your dad is very talented.

My dad painted with oil. He also would used photos, post cards, etc and then paint from those as a reference.
He suffered a stroke in his 50's and lost most of the use of his right side, arm and hand.
He taught himself to paint with his left hand and whenever I look at his work, I still can't believe how he did it.

Hope your dad is doing well.

My dad stopped painting a long time ago. He was better with drawing. Painting after an image, he could do quite well, but he is a bit color-blind. He has turned 90 last year and has some problems with his left eye. But otherwise he is doing quite well, though he has suffered a few minor strokes.

Beautiful work! Reminds me a bit of Zappa compositions for synclavier. I appreciate the meter changes and the mood changes. Also I hear fuge-alike development. Very nice painting, too!

    Thanks.

At this moment I'm working on a piece for piano, I wrote in April 1995. It is sheetmusic I found. It doesn't have a title and a tempo-setting. Don't really know what to do with it. Will I make it a piano-piece, or will I use it for something else.

Also found some other sheet-music I might do something with in the future.
