Chris, we used to carry their physical CDs, which we got from AltrOck, but since there is no more AltrOck, we can not get them any more, at least until they get some distribution outside of Russia.....

    Too bad about AltrOck.

    Bought a ticket for Rhizome
Ephemeral Sun - because I gotta do something about these boxes of CDs in the basement: http://www.ephemeralsun.com

Will definitely be at the RhizomeDC show on June 19th. Tip O' The Hat for bringing the band to DC, Steve!

There are plenty of copies on Discogs, mostly direct from Russia but at reasonable prices: https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/11073578?ev=rb

But there is a link on the Otkaz website to a Russian shop for the physical CD.
I'd get this one from discogs, Geese & Swans

I have just been informed of the following:

"Steve, do you know, we will have special guest on our concert!
It will be our former keyboard player Pavel Karmanov and after he will play with us all our tour"

[no, I didn't know and now I put up FOUR people and must find a keyboard - cough cough cough - but it will make the DC show better and ALL the shows better!]

You don't know a violinist & trumpeter do you?

They'll certainly be better with keys added. Pavel played on the last 3 albums.

Last night I dreamed I attended a Vezhlivy Otkaz gig, and other than the band, I was the only one there. Not even club staff/wait staff. It wasn't at Nighttown, so nothing realistic about it, and it got weirder from there, which I won't go into.

I’ve been at that show (not a dream, an actual, live event) MORE than once.

    Oh-my-fucking-god!!

    They were unbelievable.

Anyone in the NYC area who doesn’t see them is missing out.

Possibly the best concert of the year for me.
