New Canterbury band- being mixed by Andy Tillison (The Tangent)

New instrumental Canterbury rock band called 'Zopp'- similar to Egg, National Health and Hatfield and the North.

The entire album is currently being mixed by Andy Tillison from The Tangent, who also plays on the album.

I would appreciate it if you could please like the band's Facebook page for updates! >> http://facebook.com/zoppmusic

Also please follow and listen to some rough demos on their bandcamp page >> https://zopp.bandcamp.com/track/before-the-light-2

    Expected release later this year

    I like it.

I hope they will find their inspiration mainly in the original sources: Jazz, classical, folk, etc. , rather than in the bands they can be 'grouped' with (Egg, National Health, Hatfield , Jaga Jazzist, Soft Machine.)

You might have heard it before, but based on what I hear I would say: Zopp is Top!

This album is really excellent. The Canterbury flavor is strong here...well done!

It’s one my favourites from last year, it’s really hit the spot for me.

Yes indeed, this was a nice surprise from last year. I think I'll queue this one up for today as well.
